PURPOSE: To provide various laminate roll type grinding tools at a low cost by forming a wide abrasive cloth in a roll form as keeping in a belt form, or furthermore, by cutting the roll form abrasive cloth into slices with a specific width, in a grinding tool used for grinding a belt form metallic body and the like.
CONSTITUTION: In this laminate roll type grinding tool and its manufacturing method, a belt form sheet base body 5 to which an abrasive is applied and fixed at least on one side is wound and laminated on a main shaft 6 to form a spiral roll, and then, the laminated belt form sheets are adhered to compose the grinding tool. Furthermore, various laminate roll type grinding tools with a narrow width can be obtained by cutting a wide grinding tool made by such a way in a specific width square to the axial direction.
