To provide a laminate steel plate suitable for two-piece cans which has a high degree of processing and does not cause detachment or fracture of the resin layer.
The laminate steel plate is for two-piece cans of a high degree of processing, which is manufactured by a manufacturing process shown in Figure 1 and meets following conditions: r1r, 0.1r1/R0.25 and 1.5h/(R-r)4 (wherein, h is the height of the two-piece can; r is the maximum radius; r1 is the minimum radius; and R is the radius of a circular piece of the laminate steel plate before shaping having a weight equal to that of the can). The layer coming in contact with the steel plate of the polyester resin layer constituting the laminate steel plate is formed by condensation polymerization of dicarboxyic acid components based on terephthalic acid and diol components based on ethylene glycol, for example, the condensation polymerization product contains 20-35 mol% of isophthalic acid and/or cyclohexanedimethanol as copolymerizable components. The planar orientation factor is 0.06.
