Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the stability of the quality of an electrophotographic photoreceptor and to prevent a change of the electrostatic characteristics due to repetition.

CONSTITUTION: At least an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transferring layer are successively laminated as the photosensitive layer on an electrically conductive substrate to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor. The electric charge transferring layer contains at least a stilbene deriv. represented by the formula (where R is H or unethoxy) as an electric charge transferring material and toluene or THF is used as a solvent for preparing a coating material for the electric charge transferring layer.
