Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of displacement in a position of a manifold and to simplify assembly without using a jig by a method wherein an engaging edge part in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the other tank part is extended from the outer peripheral edge of a manifold.
CONSTITUTION: A U-shaped heat-exchange medium flow passage 13 is formed between two molding plates 11a and 11b, and tank parts 14 and 15 expanded toward the outside are formed at the ends situated upstream and downstream sides of a flow passage 13. A communicating port 16 in an oblong shape is formed in each of tank parts 14 and 15. An opening part 20 is formed in the outer surface of a fixing part 19 and a burring 21 fitted in the communicating port 16 of the tank part 14 of a heat-exchanger is formed on the edge of the opening part 20. Further, the outer peripheral edges of two molding plates 12a and 12b of which the fixing part 19 consists are extended in such a manner to be folded in parallel to each other. The tip of the fixing part forms an engaging edged 22 formed in a shape extending along the outer peripheral surface of the tank part 15, to which a manifold 12 is not connected, of the two tank parts 14 and 15 of a heat-exchange plate 11.
