To provide a method of manufacturing a laminated battery having a laminate film packing structure improved in reliability against external stress-induced damage and stains with an electrolyte.
A protection film 8 containing an adhesive material where adhesive force will almost be lost with heating or ultraviolet irradiation is stuck in advance on a three-layered laminate film of a metal foil layer 6 laminated with a protective layer 7 and a heat sealing layer 5 and then the battery is manufactured. Finally, the protection film 8 reduced in adhesive force with heating or ultraviolet irradiation is peeled off. The external stress-induced damage and the stains with the electrolyte are absorbed in the protective film 8. Thus, the protective layer 7 of the laminate film 4 is substantially free from ever generated defects such as the damage and stains.
