To provide a laminated body for shells, a pressure vessel, a fuel tank which are lightweight with excellent pressure tightness and gas barrier property, have an easy manufacturing process, a low manufacturing cost and high reliability for space industry and a pressure vessel manufacturing method.
The laminated body for shells is formed by laminating a protective layer having a thickness of 5μm to 5mm and a variation within ±20% with respect to a mean thickness, a barrier layer formed of thermoplastics and having a variation within ±20% with respect to the mean thickness, and a pressure and strength retention layer formed by braiding reinforcement fiber threads. The pressure vessel has a mouthpiece portion and the barrier layer and/or the protective layer connected via a share ply layer. The barrier layer and the pressure and strength retention layer are laminated in this order on the protective layer placed on a mandrel by a FW (filament winding) process.
