Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic paste suitable for forming a thin ceramic green layer with a high pattern accuracy.
SOLUTION: In the ceramic paste containing a ceramic powder, an organic solvent and an organic binder, as the binder, a mixture of a polyvinylbutyral and a cellulose ester, a mixture of a polyacrylic ester or the like and a cellulose ester, a mixture of the polyvinylbutyral and a polyvinyl acetate or a mixture of the polyvinylbutyral and a polyacrylic ester or the like, or a copolymer containing an acrylate (methacrylate) alkyl ester as a main component is used. This ceramic paste is advantageously used to form the ceramic green layer 5 for absorbing a step on a main surface of ceramic green sheet 2 so as to substantially eliminate the step by the thickness of an internal electrode 1, for example, in a laminated ceramic capacitor.
