Abstract:

To suppress decrease in the yield by forming an internal electrode at a target resistance value.

In a comb-tooth step, slits are provided in a comb-tooth shape on a continuous thermistor element plate, a comb-tooth part has a lateral size of an element thermistor and a plurality of the slits are formed continuously in the longitudinal direction of the element thermistors. Accordingly, internal electrodes 2 remain exposed to the outside at both side faces of the element thermistor in its longitudinal direction. Thus, when a resistance value is measured in this state, the lateral size with should become the target resistance value can be decided. The lateral size can be selected finally to match it, and hence the resistance value can easily be set to the target resistance value.
