PURPOSE: To simplify the manufacturing process for laminated chip type C.R composite electronic components including a laminated ceramic capacitor and a resistor.

CONSTITUTION: These electronic components comprise a group of a first sheet 2 composed of a ceramic dielectric substance with a first internal electrode 3 formed in the wide surface thereof and a group of a second sheet 4 composed of a ceramic dielectric substance with a second internal electrode 5 formed in the wide surface thereof, and resistors 6 continuously provided are formed so as to be electrically connected to one end of the second internal electrode 5 in the wide surface of the second sheet 4, and the groups of the first sheet 2 and the second sheet 4 are alternately arranged in laminated form so that the sheets lie between the first internal electrode 3 and the second internal electrode 5 to form a laminated chip body. A first external electrode 10 electrically connected to a set of the first internal electrode 3 and a second external electrode 11 electrically connected to a set of the resistor 6 and the second internal electrode 5 are formed in the side surface of the laminated chip body.
