To provide a laminated core and its method of manufacturing which can manufacture a product of high quality in high efficiency without receiving an influence of swelling in the thickness direction of a connection member.

In the laminated core 10 layered by winding a plurality of continued segment core pieces 13 in spiral shape, while joining together the side end 14 of the segment core pieces 13 connected adjacent to each other with the connection member 12 formed in an external peripheral part 11 by bending the connection member, the radial direction outer side of the connection member 12 has a recessed notch 20 for storing a radial direction swollen part 19 formed at the radial direction outer side in an outer side circle of the layered core piece 10 when the connection member 12 is bent, the radial direction inner side of the connection member 12 is provided with an inner side notch 21 formed with a bending position of the connection member 12, and the connection member 12 has a through hole 15 for suppressing swelling in a thickness direction generated when the connection member 12 is bent.
