To laminate with a practically sufficient adhesion a transparent electroconductive film having a low resistance and an inorganic film having inorganic barrier properties on a transparent electroconductive film employed for a plastic film liquid crystal display device.
This laminated film is prepared by forming an organic layer, an inorganic barrier layer and a transparent electroconductive thin film layer on at least one side of a transparent polymer film having a retardation value of not more than 15 nm at a film thickness of 200 μm, the polymer having a glass transition temperature of at least 120°C and being substantially amorphous. In this case, the organic layer has an isocyanurate structure. Further, the objective liquid crystal display device is manufactured by using the abovementioned laminated film.
