To provide a laminated film having good coating appearance free from appearance defects such as uneven application and coating streaks when a binder compound and spherical particles are laminated on a thermoplastic resin film; and to provide a backlight and a solar cell.

The laminated film has a coating layer satisfying the following three requirements: (1) the coating layer has a binder compound and a spherical particle on at least either surface of a substrate of a thermoplastic resin film; (2) the spherical particle has a coefficient of variation (CV) of 15%; and (3) the proportion of small-diameter particles existing in the spherical particles is 1%. A solar cell and a backlight is respectively constructed using the laminated film.
