To provide a laminated lumber and a production method of the laminated lumber effectively keeping good appearance of a multiple-compressed laminated straight grain lumber and improving size stability.SOLUTION: A laminated lumber 10 comprises: a multiple-compressed laminated straight grain lumber 12 with its thickness more than 1 mm configured to be formed as an adhered body having an adhesive joint 12c by adhering and abutting flat grain faces of the multiple-compressed lumber through a heat-compression treatment in a thickness direction of a flat grain lumber to each other and having each of a front surface and a rear surface exposing a continuous straight grain face; and a core material 16 in a plate shape in which a front surface 16a is adhered on a rear surface 12b of the multi-compressed laminated straight grain lumber 12. Thereby, deformation of the multi-compressed laminated straight grain lumber 12 is suppressed and its size stability is improved. Further, exposing a dense and attractive grain pattern of the multi-compressed laminated straight grain lumber on at least one surface of the laminated lumber provides excellent appearance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
