To obtain a nonwoven fabric comprising short fibers made of conjugate filament yarns of excellent cooling disposition. spinnability and drawability following their delivery from a spinneret, good in biodegradability, rich in both moisture and water absorbability, and having enough mechanical strength to stand its practical use.

This laminated nonwoven fabric has such structure that a short fiber web comprising conjugate short fibers is laminated with a natural fiber web comprising natural fibers and the laminate is integrated through three- dimensional interlacing. Each of the conjugate short fibers is made up of high- melting component A consisting of a 1st biodegradable aliphatic polyester and low-melting component B consisting of a 2nd biodegradable aliphatic polyester lower in melting point than the 1st polyester, and has such structure that the respective plural high-melting components A and low-melting components B are alternately laminated with each other in the fiber cross-section and lie continuous in the direction of fiber axis and also exposed onto the fiber surface.
