To provide a laminated optical film capable of suppressing variation of retardation value Rth of the thickness direction as a whole even if retardation value of the thickness direction of each layer varies due to temperature change.
This laminated optical film includes a first optical anisotropic layer, and a second optical anisotropic layer. Rth1 of the first optical anisotropic layer and Rth2 of the second optical anisotropic layer satisfy one of relationships (1) Rth10 nm and Rth20 nm and (2) Rth10 nm and Rth20 nm, and the retardation value Rth of the thickness direction of the whole laminated optical film is 50 nmRth500 nm. In the relationships (1) and (2), Rth1 represents the value of Rth1 (50C)-Rth1 (25C) in the first optical anisotropic layer, and Rth2 represents the value of Rth2 (50C)-Rth2 (25C) in the second optical anisotropic layer.
