PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated piezoelectric actuator in which an easily manufactured structure is realized by providing first, second electrodes on one side of the body of the actuator.
CONSTITUTION: Ends 22a 24a of first, second electrode layers 22, 24 are exposed with one side 25 of a columnar body 21 in which a first electrode layer 22, a piezoelectric material layer 23, a second electrode layer 24 and a piezoelectric material layer 23 are sequentially laminated in this order, and an insulating layer 26 covers a part close to a right side part of the end 22a and a part close to a left side part of the end 24a. When X is an interval between the adjacent layers 26, d is a distance between the layers 22 and 24, and θ is an angle of the layer 26 to the layers 22, 24, the layer 26 is so formed as to satisfy next formula of X=2d.cos θ. Accordingly, a first outer electrode 27 is provided to be connected to the end 22a at a part close to the left side of the side 25, a second outer electrode 28 is provided to be connected to the end 24a at a part close to the right side, and an operation is conducted only at one side of the body, thereby facilitating its manufacture.
