Title:
LAMINATED RESONATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3488733
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce an occupied area of surface mount of the resonator onto a printed circuit board by arranging a center conductor layer and an intermediate conductor layer connecting to one end of the center conductor layer between different dielectric layers so as to reduce the axial length of the resonator.
CONSTITUTION: A center conductor layer 2 and an intermediate conductor layer 3 with a dielectric layer 1c inbetween are arranged in a dielectric laminator 1 comprising stacked layers, one-side ends of the two conductor layers 2,3 are connected together and to a terminal electrode 6. Moreover, earth conductors 4, 5 have the center conductor layer 2 and the intermediate conductor layer 3 inbetween via dielectric layers 1b, 1d. Since the center conductor layer 2 is arranged between the different dielectric layers 1b, 1d respectively, the axial length of the center conductor layer 2 is decreased by the length of the intermediate conductor layer 3 connecting to the center conductor layer 2. Furthermore, the center conductor layer 2 is formed nearly to a linear strip, the width orthogonal to the axial length is made narrow, the resonator is made much smaller in terms of a plane and the occupied area of the resonator on a printed circuit board is considerably reduced.
