Abstract:
To provide a lamination type secondary battery in which breakdown of an electrode tab is inhibited while suppressing deformation of an electrode body.SOLUTION: A lamination type secondary battery includes a lamination electrode body laminating multiple electrode plates via separators, and having multiple electrode tabs projecting from the multiple electrode plates, respectively, a metal square exterior coating for receiving the lamination electrode body, one or more electrode body holders placed in a cavity between the lamination electrode body and the square exterior coating, and receiving the lamination electrode body, and one or more spacers provided between the lamination electrode body and a square exterior coating. The spacer is provided between the lamination electrode body and the electrode holder, or between the electrode holder and the square exterior coating when there is one electrode holder, and is provided between at least any one of electrode holders when there are multiple electrode holders.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
