To reduce energy loss due to an eddy current by using a laminated steel plate used in a general electric apparatus, compared with a conventional material wherein flat plates are laminated.

A level difference (1) is alternately provided between a front surface and a rear surface of the laminated steel plate, and a shape of the level difference (1) is made square so that, when the steel plates are laminated, a protruded part of the front surface and a recessed part of the rear surface, and further a recessed part of the front surface and a protruded part of the rear surface join together. In one sheet of steel plate, when the front surface is protruded, the rear surface thereof is recessed, conversely, when the front surface is recessed, the rear surface thereof is protruded, to make the thickness of the plate uniform.
