To provide a cemented carbide which can combine well-balancedly both properties of strength and toughness even if cemented carbide scrap is used; and to provide a method for production thereof, and a tool formed by the cemented carbide.
There is provided the laminated structure type cemented carbide in which at least two WC-base cemented carbide layers consisting of a surface layer and an inner layer are laminated. The cemented carbide is characterized in that the Al content in the inner layer is higher than that in the surface layer, and the thickness of the surface layer is ≥50 μm but ≤1,500 μm. There are also provided a cutting tool, die tool and the like, and a method for producing the cemented carbide using super hard recycled powder obtained from cemented carbide scrap.
