Abstract:
To provide a laminate for a fuel battery capable of improving the durability of the battery by suppressing mechanical damage to a catalyst layer and an electrolyte membrane due to the unevenness of an MPL surface even when a thickness of the electrolyte membrane composing the laminate for the fuel battery gets as thin as 10 μm or less.SOLUTION: In a gas diffusion layer in which a microporous layer and a porous base material layer are laminated in this order from an electrolyte membrane side, a pore diameter on a surface of the porous base material layer at the microporous layer side is set to a specific range and a density of the porous base material layer and a thickness of the microporous layer are set to a specific range. With this, mechanical damage to the catalyst layer and the electrolyte membrane due to the unevenness of an MPL surface that is transferred and formed by unevenness of a surface of a diffusion layer base material is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
