To provide a photothermographic film and a method for manufacturing the same.
The photographic film 30 has a support 32, a photothermographic imaging layer 34 which is formed on the support 32, and a complement film 40 which normally confines the photothermographic imaging layer 34 between the support 32 and complement film 40. After the complement film 40 is laminated on the photothermographic imaging layer 34, the photothermographic imaging layer 34 is exposed. Arbitrary volatile substances produced during the development of an image to which the photothermographic imaging layer 34 is exposed are made present in the photothermographic imaging layer 34 by applying heat energy to the photothermographic imaging layer 34 with the complement film 40.
