Title:
LAMINATOR ASSEMBLING BODY HAVING ENDLESS BELT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000071331
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent speckles, spots, flutes or ripples from developing in a paper and control the paper before its entering a nip portion by a method wherein a tapered pressure is applied to a medium to be laminated so as to arrange belt rollers for carrying the medium to be laminated to the nip portion between heat pressing rollers.

A first and a second roller arrangements 9a and 9b respectively include pressing rollers 11a and 11b. Endless belts 17a and 17b are respectively arranged around the first and the second roller arrangement 9a and 9b. A medium passage 20 is arranged between the first and the second roller arrangements 9a and 9b so as to partition a medium 100 between the opposing portions of the endless belts 17a and 17b in order to apply a first pressure onto the medium 100 when the medium 100 passes through the medium passage 20. After that, when the medium 100 reaches the pressing rollers 11a and 11b, a second pressure, which is larger than the pressure applied by the endless belts 17a and 17b, is applied to the nip portion 25 between the pressing rollers 11a and 11b in order to furnish a lamination.
