PURPOSE: To provide a lamp cover which can give a high decoration effect by housing a decorating material inside a continuous cavity provided along a continuous thick part formed on a main body.

CONSTITUTION: A cover 1 has a main body 2 from in a so-called butterfly wing shape of synthetic resin having translucency, while a plurality of narrow and thick parts 6 extend from its base 4 toward tips 5 in a fork shape. Inside a cavity 7 provided on the thick part 6, numerous colored translucent beads 8 made of glass or synthetic resin are housed as decorating members. With the cover 1, the main body 2 itself permits transmission of light of a lamp so that various colors of light beams which have been reflected on a border of spaces such as cavity surfaces or which have transmitted through the beads 8 are scattered, and a illumination effect which has not been found in conventional types can be exhibited.
