Abstract:
To provide a liquid crystal projection device having a hermetically sealed structure lamp where the explosion noise of a light emitting tube is softened and broken pieces are prevented from being scattered in a state where an air course which can be cooled is secured.
The lamp 1a of the liquid crystal projection device is hermetically sealed by a supporting base 3 supporting a concave mirror 2 having two notched parts 2a and 2b, an outer case 5 and a plate glass 7, and the air course part 3f is formed on the supporting base 3. The lamp is attachable/detachable with respect to a lamp fixing means to be fitted, where two aperture parts are formed, and a cooling fan is fixed at either aperture part.
