The lamp device for a vehicle makes first drive possible for turning a lamp 2 around a first axis A against a lamp body 100, and makes second drive possible for inclining the lamp 2 around a second axis B along the direction orthogonal to the first axis A. The lamp device for a vehicle includes an actuator 1 wherein a first motor for rotatably driving a first output section 20 around the first axis A and a second motor for linearly driving a second output section 21 on a third axis C as a position twisted with the second axis B are housed in a single case 11. In the actuator 1, the case 11 is inclinably supported around the second axis B penetrating the case 11 against the lamp body 100, the second output section 21 is connected with the lamp body 100 so as to make self linear driving force transmit, and the first output section 20 is connected with the lamp 2 so as to make it integrally rotatable around the first axis A.
