To provide a lamp device for easily and securely controlling light to change its direction along a first and a second directions, and at the same time avoiding the degradation of a driving source as a load to lower its performance.

The lamp device for a vehicle includes a lamp 2 to emit the light with a light source 2a internally arranged, and the direction of the light is adjustable along a vertical and a horizontal directions to a lamp body 100. The lamp device also includes an actuator 1 suitable for the lamp body 100. The actuator 1 includes a first motor to rotationally drive a first output unit 24 around a first shaft A to change the direction of the light along the horizontal direction by means of the rotational driving, and a second motor to linearly drive a second output unit 25 around the first shaft A to change the direction of the light along the vertical direction by means of the linear driving.
