Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce time required for adjustment during product type switching, in particular, for height adjustment.
SOLUTION: This device comprises an index table 1 provided with a chuck 2 for work holding and a working machine 3 for performing various work arranged around this index table 1. Mounting based 12 and 48 on which each working machine 3 is installed are so separated in plurality that part or all of the mounting bases 12 and 145 are made height-adjustable independently, and each working machine 3 requiring height adjustment due to switching of manufacturing product type is installed the mounting base 12 or 48 which differs with the difference in heat adjustment quantity. For switching the manufacturing product type, height adjustment is performed in all by means of height adjustment of the mounting base 12 or 48 regarding the working machine 3 with its same height adjustment quantity.
