A lamp socket for power supply in which a straight tube type lamp having a pair of power supply pins at an end is mounted includes a rotator 41 into which the pair of power supply pins are inserted and on which bent parts 36 of the respective power supply pins are exposed from a side face part 44, and a pair of conductive metal fittings 83 which are provided across the rotator 41, and come into contact with the pair of bent parts 36 as the rotator 41 rotates in a peripheral direction of a columnar shape, and the rotator 41 further includes a pair of contact pieces 90 which are provided to the side face part, and come into contact with the pair of conductive metal fittings 83 when the pair of power supply pins and the pair of conductive metal fittings 83 are not in contact with each other, and connection metal fittings which connect the pair of contact pieces 90 to each other.
