Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the adhesiveness between an airtightness checking ventilation path formed on a lamp body and a sealing plug closing it.
CONSTITUTION: A ventilation path 9 communicating a lamp chamber 2a with the outside of a lamp tool is formed on the lamp body 2 of a high-mount stop lamp 1, and the ventilation path 9 is closed by a sealing plug 12 after an airtightness check. The sealing plug 12 is made of an elastic member, and protruded stripes 16, 16 are formed on the face of the sealing plug 12 to be kept in elastic contact with the ventilation path 9. A hole 17 is formed at the center section of the sealing plug 12 to make it hollow.
