Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high power LED lamp with an overheat protection device having improved slowness of reaction.SOLUTION: A lamp with an overheat protection device includes a housing 10, a base board 20, an overheat protection unit 30, and an LED 40. The LED is arranged on the base board, and the overheat protection unit has a heat conduction surface directly contacting with the base board. When the LED is overheated, since thermal energy is transmitted to the base board, and then transmitted to the overheat protection unit, the overheat protection unit can be heated promptly and directly, to thereby shorten a reaction time and prevent overheating of the LED.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
