To provide a shading-hood-equipped lamp having self-cleaning capability so that it does not need to be cleaned.

A lamp 11 has a shading hood 15. A lens 13 at the front part of the lamp 11 is coated with a material having photocatalytic action, showing a high hydrophilic property in accordance with the photocatalytic action, and having translucency to light to be projected. An opening 16 for introducing falling water near the top of the lens 13 is formed in the shading hood 15. Falling water entering the opening 16 is guided diagonally downward to the front by a push-down piece 17, is then guided diagonally downward to the back by a guide member 18, is guided near the top of the lens 13, and flows down from there, during which dirt sticking on the lens 13 is washed off for automatic cleaning of the lens 13.
