Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve deficiency in bands between LAN switches without providing an expensive equipment by conducting relay or abort processing for a received packet based on a matrix table and a monitor means so as to prevent endless circulation of the transmission packet.
SOLUTION: In the circulation prevention processing for a packet received from a terminal equipment, when a packet is received from, e.g. a terminal equipment A309, a relay destination port is retrieved based on a terminal management table 308 in an address monitor processing section 306 so as to discriminate whether or not the port corresponds to multiple link port. Whether or not the packet is already registered in a terminal equipment management table 308 is discriminated and when the packet is received at a time to be monitored after the registration, it is discriminated that the packet is circulated endless and the packet is aborted. After the registration, when the packet is received after the lapse of the monitor time, the received packet is sent according to communication matrix information 307 generated by a multiple link information 301.
