PURPOSE: To improve the durability of a lance pipe and to permit molding and transporting of a long-sized material by fixing a refractory coating layer to a mandrel and a fixing piece such as reinforcing material thereof by centrifugal molding and injecting a refractory packing material into the gap formed of the mandrel, etc. and the coating material thereby unitizing the mandrel, etc. and said material.
CONSTITUTION: A reinforcing bar 2 and reinforcing plate 3 are welded to a mandrel pipe 1 to reinforce the pipe and V-anchors 4 are welded to the reinforcing materials 2, 3. Castable refractories mixed intimately with water are build-up on the fixing piece consisting of such materials and the tires 17 of molding flasks 14, 14' are placed on the wheel of a centrifugal rotating machine 19, then said machine is run. The kneaded material is dehydrated by centrifugal force and a centrifugally formed coating layer 5 is formed. The castable refractory packing material 6' is injected into the gap formed of the mandrel 1 and the layer 5 to unite the mandrel 1 and the layer 6 by the packed layer 6. The durability of the pipe is improved as a result of the improved strength thereof by the above-mentioned method, by which the molding and transporting of a long-sized material are made possible.
