PURPOSE: To simplify the adjustment of the position and the direction of a voice input device and at the same time to simplify the operation and to improve the versatile applicability of the voice input device by adding this input device to a lap-top type computer main body.

CONSTITUTION: The voice input means 9a and 9b are added to a lap-top type computer main body 1. In such a configuration, a memory 11 is provided to store the characters corresponding to the voices inputted from both means 9a and 9b together with a voice recognizing means which recognizes the voice inputted from the means 9a and 9b.
