PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjusting operation of a position and a direction of an object to be photographed, and to improve the convenience of the device by providing the lap top type computer main body with the image input device.

CONSTITUTION: A miniature camera 9 is attached as an image input device in front of a flat panel 3. A control part 11 for controlling the miniature camera 9 is connected to a substrate 13 in which a microprocessor is contained. In the case of inputting image data by the miniature camera 9, an angle is adjusted by setting the flat panel 3 to an open state, and thereafter, an object to be photographed is photographed. The photographed image is converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter, and subjected to compression processing, and thereafter, stored in a main memory. In such a way, the convenience of the device can be improved.
