Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a lapping reamer at low cost and to prevent cracks from being generated from a slit of a cutting edge part without deteriorating uniform extension of the reamer diameter. SOLUTION: A lapping reamer is provided with a hollow body 1 and provided with a tapered shaft hole 2 in the axis, a shunk, a cutting edge part 3 of the body 1 in which the front surface is a diamond layer coated with diamond powder and three first slits 4 formed in the axial direction are provided in the circumferential direction at equal distances, and a taper pin 5 to be inserted into the shaft hole 2. Three second slits 6 are respectively provided in line in the circumferential direction so as to be adjacent to the body end 1b extended from the body end la by the specified length and so as to continue to the body tip side ends of respective first slits 4. A clearance part 7 between respective second slits 6 is arranged in the intermediate part between respective first lists 4, the length of the body end 1b is approximately equal to the width of the first slit 4, and the length of the clearance part 7 is larger than the width of the first slit 4.
