Abstract:
PURPOSE: To hold even braces made light and small against tensile force owing to the deformation of a large-sized construction, by a method wherein, in the case where two kinds of tensile force individually operate on one of the braces and the other, a rotary member rotates and balances the tensile force operating on the one with the tensile force operating on the other.
CONSTITUTION: In the case where a large-sized construction strains by a rise in temperature and large tensile force operates on either of braces 43, 45, the force ratates a rotary member 37 in such direction that a connecting hole (40 or 41) being eccentric to a rotary center 38 of the rotary member 37, the rotary center 38, and the brace (43 or 45), on which the large tensile force operates, are put close to a straight line. At this time, the rotary member 37 rotates to the place where two kinds of tensile force operating on the braces 43, 45 balance with each other and stops thereat, and hence the tensile force being the same always operates on each of the braces 43, 45. Therefore, the braces 43, 45 can be held against the tensile force owing to the deformation of the large-sized construction even if they are made small and light.
