PURPOSE: To improve the flatness of a large-sized fiber screen so as to project a video excellent in quality, to obtain excellent specific strength and to restrain the weight of an entire video device including supporting structure.
CONSTITUTION: This video device is constituted of many optical fibers 1 rectangularly focused at one end, a light incident surface 2 formed of the end faces of the optical fibers at the focused end, a unit fiber screen 4 for emitting the video projected to the light incident surface, where the other ends of the optical fibers are fixed so as to pierce from the back surface of a panel to the front surface thereof while holding the positional relation to other adjacent optical fibers, a liquid crystal projector 5 projecting the video to the light incident surface, and the large-sized fiber screen 3 constituted by piling 16 unit fiber screens 4 in a plane state; and a supporting member supporting the screen 3 below has honeycomb structure.
