Abstract:
To reduce torsional vibration of a large-sized two-stroke compression ignition type internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A piston 21 is operably connected to a crank shaft 22 through a piston rod, a cross head 23 and a connection rod. An engine includes a fuel injection system having one or more fuel valves 30 disposed on each of cylinders 1. An electronic control unit 50 is constituted to control a timing of fuel injection, and operates the engine within at least a specific rotating speed range by delay fuel injection by executing at least one pre-injection after TDC and main injection thereafter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
