Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the working ratio of a laser beam machining device.
SOLUTION: A plurality of laser generating devices are installed in a clean room environmentally separated from a machining station, with temperature, humidity, vibration, cleanliness, etc., detected by sensors and displayed. At the time of detection of abnormal environments, machining is stopped at once or after the lapse of a prescribed time. The laser generating devices are grouped according to each machining tool, and fiber switching devices FC3, FC4 are arranged for each group. Optical fibers are selectively connected through the switching of the laser generating devices and the fiber switching devices, thereby bringing selective freedom in the laser generating devices and the optical paths of the fibers. The freedom is utilized in accordance with abnormality of the laser generating devices, anomaly of optical fibers, machining kinds, etc.; as a result, the machining devices are made ready without being directly affected by a line stoppage for many hours in the event of partial failures.
