Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve beam quality and to enhance machining precision by providing plural optical fiber incident lens units which are arranged so that the optical distance is mutually equalized from the laser generator to the incident end of the optical fiber. SOLUTION: Each optical fiber incident unit 4 is arranged in the manner that the optical distance is equal from a laser generator 1 to each unit 4. As a result, a laser beam 3 with the same beam profile is made incident on all condensing lenses 6, the propagating style of the laser beam 3 transmitting through an optical fiber 7 is equalized, and also the quality of the laser beam 3 outgoing from the optical fiber 7 is uniformized. Consequently, the unit 4 can be provided with a interchangeable single specifications, the beam quality after transmitted through all optical fibers 7 is equalized, and the system is made simple and plain.
