To uniformize the light intensity distribution of a laser beam even when the light intensity distribution of incident light is an inclined pattern having inclination in one direction.

The laser beam shaping device 30 is provided with a reverse lens unit 32 between a 1st array lens 16 and a 2nd array lens 20. The lens unit 32 has a reverse lens 34 opposed to cylindrical lenses 14a and 18a and a reverse lens 36 opposed to cylindrical lenses 14c and 18c. In the device 30, dispersed light (a) and (c) being the half of dispersed light (a) to (d) passing through the lenses 14a to 14d are reversed by the lenses 34 and 36 again. Thus, by composing the dispersed light (b) and (d) reversed once and the dispersed light (a) and (c) reversed twice, the inclination of the light intensity distribution is canceled, so that the light intensity distribution of the composed emitted light 26 is uniformized even when the light intensity distribution of the incident light 12 is the inclined pattern having the inclination in one direction.
