Abstract:

To provide a laser beam shaping optical system that shapes the intensity distribution of laser beams into optional intensity distribution and suppresses increase in time for processing an optical lens to enlarge or reduce the laser beams.

A laser beam shaping optical system 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: an intensity change lens 11 for changing the intensity distribution of incident laser beams to shape the distribution into desired intensity distribution; a phase correction lens 12 for setting the laser beams emitted from the intensity change lens 11 in the same phase to correct them to a plane wave; and an enlargement/reduction optical system 20, placed between the intensity change lens 11 and the phase correction lens 12, for enlarging or reducing the laser beams emitted from the intensity change lens 11.
