Abstract:

To provide a laser beam welding device by which laser beam welding in the fillet part of a lap joint can inexpensively be performed with a simple structure at a low cost.

The laser beam welding device is provided with: a laser beam oscillator 11 of oscillating a laser beam 13; a laser beam irradiation device 14 of applying the laser beam 13 produced by the laser beam oscillator 11 toward the fillet part 19 of the body 18 to be welded consisting of a plurality of sheet-shaped members 18a and 18b; and a link mechanism device 15 of changing the irradiating position of the laser beam irradiation device 14 in accordance with the size of a gap G formed in the sheet thickness direction as for the plurality of sheet-shaped members 18a and 18b each other. The link mechanism device 15 is composed in such a manner that the irradiating position of the laser beam 13 is changed by moving the position of the laser beam irradiation device 14 using a link mechanism.
