The laser beam welding equipment is equipped with an irradiation means for irradiating the member 1 to be welded with the laser beams and fusion welds the member 1. The irradiation means 2 irradiates the member with a plurality of the laser beams L1 and irradiates the member with the laser beams L1 while the irradiation spots of the laser beams L1 to the member 1 are approximately linearly arrayed.
