PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of crack and to increase the bending strength of a weld zone as well by removing the insulating coating prior to the welding by using one part of the laser beam energy and by irradiating the butt welding zone after welding.
CONSTITUTION: The lower layer is exposed by irradiating a laser beam on the butt part with 35W45% energy of the laser beam irradiation and by blowing off the glass layer coming in contact with the steel sheet and the insulation coating layer on the surface thereof by shielded gas as well as by destroying them. The upper limit of the energy is taken in the range of the surface of the steel plate not being melted and the lower limit in the range of breaking and blowing of the coated layer. after the butt welding the butt welding part is irradiated by using 55W75% energy of the laser beam welding. The crack on the weld zone is thus prevented and the bending strength is increased as well.
