Abstract:
To provide a laser build-up welding device and build-up welding method which can form a build-up part in which a hetero-crystal structure is hardly generated and the hot crack is hardly generated without generation of a defect such as incomplete fusion even when performing build-up widely in a case of performing laser powder build-up to a base material of a single crystal material or a unidirectional solidification material.SOLUTION: A laser build-up welding device includes a welding head which has a laser beam emission part, an optical path guiding the laser beam from a laser light source to the laser beam emission port and a powder supply part supplying weld metal powder to a build-up target portion. The optical path is provided with beam shaping means which shapes the laser beam so that the beam shape on the plane orthogonal to the laser travel direction becomes the long rectangular shape. The powder supply part is constituted by a plurality of powder supply ports arrayed along the longitudinal direction of the beam shape on the orthogonal plane of the laser beam. The device is used to perform build-up welding so that the long side direction of the long rectangular beam is orthogonal to the welding travel direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
