Abstract:
To suppress delamination or fine splits of fibers on a cut edge of a carbon fiber sheet when cutting the carbon fiber sheet with a laser beam.SOLUTION: A tabular resin material 3 is stacked on a carbon fiber sheet 1 and the carbon fiber sheet 1 is cut by irradiating the carbon fiber sheet 1 with a laser beam through the tabular resin material 3. By moving an irradiation position of the laser beam so as to draw a line on the surface of the carbon fiber sheet 1, the carbon fiber sheet 1 is cut at the line with the laser beam in a cutting process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
