Abstract:
To provide a laser device which can use relatively inexpensive general components, and at the same time, can realize a better transmission efficiency from a laser oscillation source to the outside and a laser beam machining device using the device.
A laser device makes anisotropic laser light emitted from a semiconductor laser made incident to one end side of an optical fiber, after condensing the laser light through a prescribed optical system. The laser light transmitted through the optical fiber is converted into an isotropic laser light. The optical fiber is a distributed refractive index type optical fiber.
